Kraig Klaudt & Paul Jensen - WHO, Global Fund, World Bank -Development S...




In this Video, I chat with Kraig Klaudt and Paul Jensen who work in the development space and were in India briefly related to a World Bank project. They talk about what it took to set up the Global Fund, a +$27Billion Corpus created for Aids/TB and Malaria- and are a wealth of insights about the development space- a must hear for those of you that are interested in this space.

Kraig Klaudt is a strategic advisor to the RESULTS Educational Fund ACTION project, advocating for greater political will and donor support to fight the global TB epidemic. He is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is also currently involved in a variety of other initiatives to help improve the effectiveness of the World Bank and the World Health Organization.

In 2001, Kraig created the Massive Effort  to help mobilize society action against AIDS, TB and malaria. Prior to this, Kraig served as advocacy campaign coordinator and senior policy advisor for the World Health Organization department responsible for addressing infectious diseases, developing Roll Back Malaria's initial advocacy strategy and then designing the advocacy messages and strategies which helped lead to the creation of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria.

Kraig joined the WHO in 1993 to head up its efforts to make tuberculosis a higher and more visible political priority.
