NanduMadhava- Entrepreneur Mdhil.com (@mhealthtips)

Very interesting chat with Nandu Madhava a TED Fellow and an entrepreneur who gave up a Goldman Sachs career after a Harvard MBA to set up and create a mobile based health information startup in india called MDhil

Nandu is the CEO and Founder of mDhil, a social impact start-up which provides basic health information over mobile phones. mDhil launched SMS health information over several Indian mobile carriers in 2009, and has since expanded into mobile web and original health videos geared for the emerging market consumer. Previously, he was part of the management team at OfficeTiger, a Chennai-based business process strategy firm acquired by RR Donnelley. Nandu has also worked at Goldman Sachs & UBS in asset management roles where he was part of a 3-member team that managed over $1 billion in diversified assets. He is an undergraduate of the University of Texas and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mdhil has had +Million video views and is hugely focused on content distribution over the mobile network-people look to mdhil for all kinds of advice. They have a great twitter feed which you must absolutely subscribe to  @mhealthtips

Nandu also explores his definition of passion and success, and his own experiences being in a camp in central america (Yes, he speaks Spanish fluently, though he wont say where he learnt it :-) ) A great individual who wants to make a commercial success out of a social cause...

Nandu can be found on Nandu@Linkedin  and on Nandu@TED .Way to go Nandu. Wish you the best...
